I've used this brand of probiotic for ages, but I've paid top dollar at Whole Foods. Amazon has the best price EVER! Two bottles for less than the price I paid for one at Whole Foods. Plus, it is a Prime product, so I didn't have to pay shipping.
As for the product itself, I've tried others and this one works best. If you suffer from IBS, stomach probbies, or are taking antibiotics, I would highly recommend Jarrow.

(More customer reviews)I bought this through Amazon at a great price. After trying several other products, like this one, I can say this one works best for me. I am sticking with it. Usually I am always on the verge of an upset stomach but it stopped with this product. It says to take once a day but I take 2 a day,one in the morning and one at night. In very small print it says it needs to be kept refrigerated once opened.

I also use probiotics, this product has a great digestive aid and probiotic in one capsule. I have acid reflux, the medication I take for that condition lowers the acid in my stomach, leaving me needed something in addition to help me digest my food without the additional acids in my stomach that would normally do that. I am very pleased with this product.

His health problems moved him to life long research into the area of nutrition and helped him in creating (Garden of Life) probably the best nutritional supplements on the market today.
Someone has once said that plagiarism is a form of flattery. I now see company after company getting on the band wagon for probiotics. Hence they are emulating Jordan's "Primal Defense" product and now are even copying the poten-zyme process to an extent.
I highly recommend "Perfect Food" as it is without a doubt probably the best Green food on the planet. I like also Kyo-Green and Wakunaga's product line. All of which can be found here at Amazon.

(More customer reviews)I started taking Irvingia in December of 08. At the time my BMI was 24.2 which is considered to be normal. My pants size was 34. After 5 months, while maintaining my diet and exercise program, I have lost roughly 5 pounds, my BMI is now 23.2, and my pants size is 32 (which is now loose). The biggest change, appetite wise, is less desire to snack between meals or late at night. Prior to starting this product I couldn't lose any weight or get rid of the fat in my waist. I recommend this product but don't think it will allow you to lie on the couch and eat donuts while losing weight.
Updated Aug 09: I have now lost 10 pounds, wearing size 31 inch jeans, and my energy levels have increased so that I have been able to double my exercise without feeling the need to eat more calories.
Update Dec 09: In the year I have been taking this product I've lost 20 pounds and now have a BMI under 21, more than doubled my exercise without needing to consume more calories, and I'm currently wearing 30" waist jeans down from 34". One other thing worth mentioning is that Life Extension sent me some information on this product which stated that using Irvingia in conjunction with a low-carb diet is not recommended. Based on this, keeping eating fruits and veggies rather than choosing steaks and bacon to lose weight when taking this product.

(More customer reviews)After 20+ years of GI issues (and subsequently discovering I have Celiac disease, as well as an intolerance to yeast resulting in overgrowth and toxicity of candida albicans in my blood) I have needed to get my system back to homeostasis. This product is EXCELLENT for this purpose. It's not only highly concentrated and varied in its content of probiotics, it's also shelf-stable and doesn't require refrigeration. All the people who rely on yogurt (especially the expensive new "advanced probiotic" ones recently out on the market) would greatly benefit from this product.
Additionally, I love that it's also free of gluten and most other allergens. I find the NOW line of supplements and foods to be exeptional values. I have become a committed customer of this brand!

While I was in the hospital over a year ago, my doctor recommended that I take it (along with the antibiotics I was on) indefinitely, and I have continued to take it. In fact, I have two bottles in my refrigerator at this very moment, because I do not want to be without any. My digestive system is more sensitive now, and this product has kept me from having to take another round of antibiotics. I highly recommend these probiotics to my family and friends whenever I hear them say that they are taking antibiotics or have gastrointestinal issues.
