(More customer reviews)The only green drink we've found that tastes really good (and we have tried A LOT of them -- most were unbearable). And it has a positive nutritional effect when we use it. We use it regularly with fruit juice and water or milk, along with the omega-3 product they make. We use this recipe:
Mix into their large shaker cup
one scoop of nanogreens (or slightly less)
one scoop of nanomega
about 10% orange juice,
30% smoothie juice (like Naked Juice Acai Berry, etc.),
a teaspoon or so of Lewis labs lecithin pineapple flavored granules
one or two ice cubes
and fill rest water
shake vigorously.
This tastes really good. These powders are sweetened with non-sugar safe, natural sweeteners (stevia), and they use a very small amount of it so it is not too sweet.
We don't put these powders into a blender generally, but if we do we don't have it in there for long and at slower speeds. This is because of the literature stating it may affect the product's nano-delivery system somewhat. The shaker cup blends it pretty well.
