(More customer reviews)I tried Vitamin Code for about 2 months. I started feeling exhausted and spaced out after taking them recently. I became concerned and researched a bit more about the company. I'm not the only one who has these symptoms from their products, especially Primal Defense. This company sold the business after Jordan Rubin had 2.5 million dollars in debt. In addition, he was sued in 2004 for claiming things that were unsubstantiated. He has pretty poor business ethics. I switched over to New Chapter. Country Life Realfood Organics is supposed to be good, too. They are both certified organic, which Garden of Life is not... there isn't any USDA seal or anything listed certifying their ingredients. Both the other companies list their certifications and have the USDA seal (and have been making vitamins for around 30 years). Garden of Life is not GMP certified, which technically means they are not audited and no one really knows what's in their products. You're just trusting what they say is in them, which made me very nervous after the research I did just on the internet. There are far better companies out there selling whole food supplements who have their certifications and are GMP certified, too.
