(More customer reviews)Probiotics are all the rage now. You can buy yogurt like Dannon's Activia which touts that it will help you to become regular within two weeks. I like the idea ... but truly, these little pearls have a ton more probiotic acidophilus in them and are very, very effective. I use them especially because I take many prescription drugs that slow the bowel down. I also take antibiotics which clean the good flora out of the intestine ... this results in diarrhea.
The Biobeads are fantastic to help keep you regular. I like the Natrol brand and I also like the price and amount in each package. You can buy more expensive ones on the web that are the EXACT SAME FORMULA. These work. If you are on an antibiotic or just really need to get regular, try them. They are tiny and created in such a way that they do not melt until they reach the lower GI. That is important! You need the flora in your intestines, not your stomach. In our household, we take them religiously.
